Privacy
Updated 27 October 2026.
Velarno Automóveis is the controller of the data you give us on this site. Contact: privacidade@velarno-automoveis.pt.
What we collect
When you request a proposal: name, email, phone, your message if you write one, and your answers to the two questions if you answer them. If you request the BMW proposal from the virtual showroom, we add what you did there (looked at the angles, opened the details, ran the 0 to 100 or the top speed) to that request; while you are only in the showroom, nothing is stored. On your personal proposal: how many times you open it, how long you spend on it, the extras you add and your test-drive request.
Why
To answer your request, prepare the proposal and book the test drive, as you asked. To prioritise the requests with most interest (legitimate interest), using simple rules the team can see: buying this month, test drive requested, proposal opened, extras and, for the BMW, having looked at the car in the virtual showroom before requesting the proposal. We never use credit, income or other personal characteristics.
Sharing with Meta and Google
Only if you agree on the form. When your request becomes qualified, we send Meta (Conversions API) and Google (offline conversions) your email and phone, hashed (SHA-256), the stage and the score, to measure and improve our ads. We never send your name, your answers or your message. You can withdraw this permission at any time.
Cookies
Meta and Google tags load only if you accept in the cookie notice. If you decline, nothing loads. You can change your choice under Cookie preferences, at the foot of every page.
Who processes data for us
The provider of the request system acts as our processor, under a contract in line with Article 28 of the GDPR.
How long
We keep requests for up to 12 months after the last contact, or less if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to its processing by writing to privacidade@velarno-automoveis.pt. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).
